The Open Directory is a human edited SEO Friendly web directory comprising a team of experienced directory editors, in search of spam free websites, containing unique content and useful information to include in our directory.Our directory is optimised for search engine spiders to easily follow all category and website links. We do NOT use the no-follow tag in Category and site listing links.We offer more than 700 categories in which you can submit your website to the most appropriate. Our category selection is growing at an exponential rate and we are working to add more features for our users constantly.

Navigate to the closest category that fits your website and submit your site using the Suggest Site link. Your submission will be reviewed by human editor(s) to ensure the information submitted meets our criteria for directory inclusion. Not all sites are accepted into our directory, website submissions containing the following will be deleted from the submission process:

• Affiliate Sites - Sites containing only affiliate links.
• Adsense Sites - Sites built primarily to generate adsense income. (Though we do accept sites containing adsense if used sparingly).
• Spammy site titles and descriptions built for promotional purposes only. (Keyword Stuffing)
• Sites containing dead links and link rot.
• Websites containing illegal content.
• URL redirection.
• Sites not in English.
• Sites under construction or have broken images.
• Sites with poor design and alot of advertisements.
• Sites containing pirate software.
• Explicit Adult websites (only dating, etc sites allowed).

You will be notified by email to let you know if your website submission has been accepted into The Open Directory. Our mission is to be recognized as a quality web resource for our users, this requires us to exercise broad editorial discretion in determining the quality, content and structure of the directory. That discretion extends (but is not limited) to what sites to include, where in the directory sites are placed, whether and when to include more than one link to a site, when deep linking is appropriate, and the content of the title and description of the site.In addition, we reserve the right to change, delete or move a site's placement at any time at our sole discretion. You should not rely on any aspect of a site's inclusion in the directory.

Editor's follow stringent guidelines whilst reviewing website submissions and all legitimate submissions are treated equally.
